When you think of cat and mouse sculptures, we can almost guarantee you don't think of these.
To be fair, they're not ALL sculptures, exactly. But they're all pieces of creative genius nonetheless...
Canadian artist Jeff de Boer creates armor for cats and mice.
And when we say armor, we do mean armor, as in for going into battle.
He bases the armor on real armor from different historical eras.
de Boer has been making these incredible pieces for more than 30 years!
They take HOURS to make. The cat armor especially can take up to 200 hours to complete.
de Boer says he's only tried to put the armor on his own cat once.
He also says he still has scars from this attempt...
These pieces are a great example of something that started out small (de Boer started them as a little side project for an art class)...
...and ended up absolutely epic.
