Recently, on January 15th, Disney's popular ride, Space Mountain, had it's 40-year anniversary. That may not surprise you, but that's incredibly impressive if you think about the fact that most themeparks don't last that long.
But recently, John Frost of The Disney Blog, came across the ride as it was shut down - or what Disney refers to in code as, "101." Frost was permitted to ride the PeopleMover - a seperate tram that runs alongside the coaster itself - and got to see the innerworkings of the ride with the lights on, which he captured on video. If you've been on Space Mountain before, this will be both fascinating and weird for you at the same time.
