Jennifer Muhm and Malorie Catchpole are the minds behind buddingSTEM, a clothing line designed with little ladies in mind.  Muhm and  Catchpole were inspired by their own daughters when creating the line and wanted to make something that taught girls everywhere that they can do anything. Check out their Kickstarter video to learn how you can support their project.Â
Jennifer Muhm and Malorie Catchpole were inspired by their young daughters to create clothing for girls that feature items marketed towards boys.

Muhm's daughter wanted to be an astronaut for Halloween, but thought that was a costume only boys could wear.

Her mom showed her photos of famous female astronauts and she dressed as one that year.Â
Catchpole's daughter wanted train underpants, but they could only be found in the boys section.

After these and many more disappointments, the two mom's worked together to create buddingSTEM.

buddingSTEM takes items like dinosaurs, trains, stars and rocketships, all of which are typically found on boys clothing and puts them on clothing for girls.

Muhm and Catchpole want to nurture and encourage their daughter's interest in the fields of science, technology, engineering and mathematics.

They want their daughters to know that these interests are just for boys.

The two moms use their original artwork to create the prints for the designs.

They have two production crews and spaces ready to start producing the lines, so it will reach girls everywhere.
