Italian artist Andrea Falaschi has an undeniable flair for the eerie, and its immediately apparent in his work. The 29-year-old craftsman makes ghostly glass bottles inspired by the literature of renowned horror fiction author, H.P. Lovecraft, that are as unsettling as they are impressive.
The tentacled skulls depict images of Cthulhu and the other well-known monsters of Lovecraft's writing.
The bottles are reminiscent of ones you might find on a pirate ship, or washed up on an old, abandoned island.
This sort of mystical, macabre ambience is at the center of much of Falaschi's work.
