Humans are unpredictable and flaky. But pizza? Pizza will never let you down.
Recently, a 22-year-old Russian man did something most men only dream of...he married a pizza.
And surprisingly, his rationale for doing it is actually pretty legitimate - for a person marrying pizza, that is.
"At some point I realized that half of my friends were complaining about their better half, while the others were complaining about the lack of a better half," reported the Metro.
“Love between two humans is a complicated wild thing.” But love between you and hot, melty, cheesy dough? That's a bond that is devoid of any and all complications.
"Pizza would not reject you or betray you, and speaking quite frankly and sincerely, I love it."
Unsurprisingly, Russian authorities refused to legally recognize the marriage at the registry office, as did the church.
In lieu, the ceremony fittingly took place at a local pizzeria in Tomsk, the couple’s hometown, instead. There, the compassionate staff issued the happy newlyweds a marriage certificate.
As for the honeymoon, we're not sure where the two plan to go. But we're assuming it'll incredibly hot and steamy.
