Dade City's Wild Things, a zoo in Tampa, Florida, has been doing some wonderful things for injured animals. Look and see what they did for this injured tiger cub.
Watch this precious tiger cub practice her new skills.
Meet Ariel.

Ariel is a tiger cub who lives at Dade City's Wild Things in Tampa, Florida.
When Ariel came to Dade City's Wild Things, she was nearly blind and a very severe head tilt.

There are a number of things that can contribute to a head tilt in animals, from inner ear problems to brain disease. Luckily, in Ariel's case, the cause of the head tilt seems slightly less severe than it could be.
To help Ariel, who's aptly named, her trainers began her on a regimen of acupuncture and water-based therapy (a.k.a. hydrotherapy).

When Ariel began her training, she could barely float, even with the help of her trainer.
Ariel's intensive therapy has proven to be successful!

Thanks in large part to her trainers, Ariel is on her way to making a significant recovery.
Now, she can swim perfectly well on her own!

Go girl, go!
Hooray for happy and healthy tigers!
