The 'Gilmore Girls' Guest Star We Didn't See Coming (But Totally Love)
Move over Rory, it looks like Lorelai is going to have not one, but two TV daughters on set of the heavily anticipated "Gilmore Girls" reboot.
YASSS! Parenthood's Mae Whitman will officially appear in the "Gilmore Girls" reboot.

Whitman is a self-proclaimed Gilmore fangirl (but really, who isn't?) and will join the cast for an undisclosed number of episodes. TVLine's Michael Ausiello couldn't share the specifics, but he did say Whitman and Graham will share a heartwarming moment all "Parenthood" fans will appreciate. Awww.
While some fans are excited for the duo's reunion, others are asking W.W.R.G.D.? (What Will Rory Gilmore Do?)

After all, with a trinity of hot AF boyfriends (Jess, Dean, and Logan, in chronological hotness order) all coming back to the Hollow, Rory doesn't have time for a jealous TV daughter duel.
But what if Whitman's character tries to steal one of Rory's handsome hotties? We could see her playing a dark and mysterious starving artist, who develops steamy chemistry with Jess. Or perhaps she'll play a single mom who recently moved to Stars Hollow and immediately falls in love with Dean (?!?)
WE'RE DYING TO KNOW.

Basically, the series premiere can't come soon enough.

Hearing more about guest stars like Whitman joining the cast truly is the cherry on top of what's already the greatest reboot in the history of reboots. Maybe if we flood creator and producer Amy Sherman-Palladino's inbox, she'll take pity on our poor souls and give us some scoop?
Until then, we'll continue to make like Nancy Drew and tirelessly theorize about "Gilmore Girls" 2.0. Now excuse us while we rewatch the series on Netflix for the 97th time.
