These Are The Best U.S. Cities For Singles Looking For Love
Apparently, where you live determines a lot about your single status.
If you're a single gal like me, you can relate to the struggle of meeting someone decent. It seems like every guy on Tinder is a dud and much to your dismay, life isn't like the movies—meaning gorgeous guys don't walk up to you in a bar without creepy intentions.
But perhaps you're just not looking in the right place.
According to an infographic from mobile dating app Clover, single Americans are looking for different things depending on where they live. The app calculated the most popular mixers by city, which included "Nerds Into Nerds," "Sexy Stoners" and "Interracial Relationships." As we all know, dating isn't just black and white anymore—it ranges from serious relationships to one-night-stands, friends-with-benefits situations and what we all know too well, "Netflix and Chill."
Find out what your state/city says about the types of people in your geographic location:

Bottom line: if you're looking for a relationship, you might want to trek out west to Los Angeles, which is apparently a haven for serious relationships. If you're in desperate need of breaking your dry spell, head on over to the Windy City for "sex tonight," but know it'll probably be with a "sexy stoner."
If "geek" is your type, head to Washington or South Dakota because apparently, there's a nerd herd over there. "Netflix and Chill" has Houston's name written all over it—which, no offense to Houston, we can all do better on.
So book a trip to your new city, explore and see what all the hype is all about. Who knows, maybe you'll meet your true match.
