Ester Honig, a freelance journalist from Kansas City set out to discover different standards of beauty in numerous countries, across many different cultures. She sent out over 40 undoctored photos of herself simply asking each culture to make her beautiful.
Below are some are the images Honig has collected so far...and they're remarkable.
Chile

Serbia

Indonesia

Morocco

Kenya

Greece

Sri Lanka

Argentina

U.K.

Israel

Italy

Romania

Australia

Vietnam

Pakistan

Venezuela

Germany

Ukraine

She expected the photos to return different, but wasn't prepared for the drastic differences each culture held concerning true beauty. It's amazing to see each culture's interpretation of beauty represented so widely.
